I think Tinashe finally found the lane she has been looking for all this time . Her first single , “No Drama” featuring Offset really set the tone for the album. She’s singing over a slow trap beat and it seems that way through out the album . After rap features from Ty Dolla Sign, French Montana and Future , she sprinkles Little Dragon in there on my favorite song “Stuck With Me” . I also love “He Don’t Want It” and she ends the album with a ballad showcasing her range which she doesn’t display a lot . This album is a must listen , whoever she is working with she should keep it up.
Youngboy has been dropping crazy back to back. He released this on Saturday afternoon. He is crooning on this song as well , as he describes the kind of girl he wants . His story about how he met Nicki when she was with Meek and how she was a ‘rider’ is probably the reason he named the song . I love it, with Youngboy you just never know what you are going to get , his music will be around for a while.
This was also dropped on My Mixtapez as a compilation of the songs he has been dropping for the past couple of weeks.. he added “My Happiness Took Away Forever” , which is a song about a past lover losing his trust and him walking away with his pride . However , by the last line of the song you will hear that losing this lover will cost him his life , as he threatens to blow his brains out . Pray for Youngboy sheesh..
