In February of 1984, The Alarm re-released their fourth single, "
Sixty-Eight Guns". It was backed by "
Pavilion Steps". The A side appeared on their debut full-length album,
Declaration. The B side was a non-LP track. The single reached the #17 spot on the U.K. singles chart. The Rhyl, Wales post punk/new wave band had originally released the single in 1983 in limited supply (with a different B side). The band called it quits in 1991 but re-formed a couple of years ago.
