A woman was delivered of a baby and a massive fibroid.
According to a Nigerian medical practitioner identified as Eric Ojeh, the woman who arrived the hospital with her huge bump, was delivered of the baby who weighed 1.8kg alongside the massive fibroid which weighed 9.8kg.
Earlier examinations had shown a massive fibroid with no sign of pregnancy, but laboratory test for HCG was positive. Giving this development she was given subtle antenatal care with close monitoring.

Fibroids are abnormal growths that develop in or on a woman’s uterus. Sometimes these tumors become quite large and cause severe abdominal pain and heavy periods. In other cases, they cause no signs or symptoms at all. The growths are typically benign, or noncancerous.
