So a while ago I made the mistake of ordering a retractable eye pencil online. I don't know what I was thinking. I really don't like retractable pencils because they are so annoying to sharpen, and I don't even like Estee Lauder eye pencils.
Hesitatingly, I decided to try it anyway. I noticed it has a deep brown color that is almost black. Unfortunately, the finish is slightly metallic, which looks messy. On top of that, the formula is super greasy.
This makes the tip instantly melt against my skin and causes a thick fat line when I want to go for something subtle and fresh. I look like Amy Winehouse instead of a Victoria's Secret model.
There is a sharper inside the other side, which sharpens well, but also get clogged instantly. If you are on the go, you have to push that back into the pencil and the wax will be all over the place. Also, you can't sharpen again... unless if you ever manage to get that sharpener clean again with all that waxy greasy stuff inside.
This type of pencil makes my beauty routine waaaayyy longer, instead of shorter. It is extremely frustrating to use this stuff. I look bad and I lose a lot of time, and... money... this mess cost me a whopping 25 euros.
Aaand this is why I decided to go on a low beauty budget this year.
